Passmore and the SRA need only use intelligence not AI to start clamping down on ML facilitated by the profession ; firstly require any firms who have acted on a purchase or sale transaction over say £50 million over the last 6years to pass over their due diligence records for scrutiny and investigate from there; CP's reference to firms understanding the risk would appear to overlook that some firms ( oft with international connections) engineer schemes for dirty money to be laundered in London ; how else the tens of billions laundered here from Russia Nigeria BVI etc etc ; trusting CP is savvy enough to know these aren't mistakes but sophisticated planned operations.
