When I started practising there in 1973, I decided that the Royal Courts of Justice were the architectural version of the White Book Index. You could never find what you want. You had to go all over the place looking for it. And even when you thought you've found it, it turned out to be something else entirely.

It could clearly be replaced by a far more efficient building. But where? And what sort of tourist attraction would it become if it were sold off?
