I agree totally with Anonymous@15:51
My 261/2004 claim was fobbed off by the customer services team, so I issued proceedings, which they ignored. I obtained judgement in default, which they also ignored. I then served a statutory demand which they ignored as well.
I only got a response on day 20 of the statutory demand period by emailing all of the board and the in house counsel that I was about to issue a winding up petition ( you can work out their personal email addresses from the press office contact on the easyJet "corporate" website).
I was paid in full very shortly thereafter!
