I can't imagine that if a non-vegan employee had taken the same action that Mr Casamitjana had, he or she would not have been dismissed.

Still, it's good publicity for the firm involved though.

I predict that veganism will be deemed to fall under the protected characteristic of 'religion or belief', but that Mr Casamitjana will fail in establishing he was dismissed because of his belief.
