Anon at 10.51 - I couldn't agree more
I am currently dealing with an estate sale
The school leaver acting for the buyer cannot grasp my request for the indemnity covenant to be worded to ensure that it extends to the deceased
She states that "in our experience" this is not necessary but then states that she will amend the clause if we provide her with the relevant wording

I had exactly the same scenario only very recently with a national well known firm of property lawyers whose name seems to imply that they think that they are the best and the grown up but clueless "case worker" there actually got quite aggressive when I pointed out that it was not for me to give rudimentary conveyancing advice and that it was a scandal that on the fact of it that she was unable to find anyone in this bunch of "Lawyers" who could point her in the right direction.
