How patronising. Here you are, dear, a job for you because you're a woman (or any other equivalent statement). No, no, we don't want the best person for the job regardless of age, colour or gender (or any other feature). No, don't worry about training, studying or improving yourself to meet the standards we feel are appropriate and relevant to our offerings and clients. I want a job I have earned - not one that has been gifted to me because I tick a box. Talk about a race to the bottom.
