The point was made, when this matter last was reported, that Ms Popal had not identified the solicitor who, allegedly, had told her that he/she would not be instructing her because she was neither white nor a male. The point also was made that it is hard to believe that a solicitor would be so crass as to say this to her, quite unnecessarily and apparently gratuitously, even if the solicitor had received specific instructions to this effect from his/her client. Surely the time has come for her to identify the solicitor concerned because, presumably, such appalling behaviour should not go undisciplined.
