This is to fundamentally misunderstand the role of a court or tribunal in most cases.

Firstly, to make finding of fact.

Secondly, to apply the relevant law to those facts and provide a decision.

Mr Kedge seems to be saying that his 'clients' are on their own regarding the second point, which is a major part of the function of a lawyer. Only if you know what the law is, can you determine which facts are relevant.

If nothing else, it is shocking value for money.
