I met her, and heard her speak, at a seminar a year or so ago.
She seemed very able, well-suited to her post, and not at all as one might guess a Coroner to be! It was just at the time that a London coroner had erred in prioritisation of urgent cases, and she of course refused to express any views on that case, but I'm sure that her own procedures would have been more appropriate. Her death will sadden those with whose cases she dealt as well- of course- her family and friends.
