Anon 09/01 @ 16:07. That works because criminals are criminals and the Courts are not surprised when they act like criminals. Solicitors are officers of the Court and are expected to obey the law. They hold a position of trust so by engaging in criminal activity they not only break the law, but they breach the trust that the Courts and the public put in them.

Call me old fashioned, but I believe that privilege carries additional responsibilities, and yes, whilst we have worked hard for it, I do think that being a Solicitor is a privilege.
