"Always outperformed solicitors" hmmm …. further and better particulars would be helpful. Having said that if we are all the same status and doing the same job, why do we have two professions at all? It seems that the main benefit from being a legal executive is that it is easier and cheaper to qualify and the road to qualification and the quality of the qualification process is clearly key to this. One problem with trying to qualify as a solicitor is that after you have done your exams you are likely to get caught in the logjam of potential solicitors called paralegal, stuck on a lower salary and potentially exploited whilst you try to get a training contract. ..
