At my local farmers' market I'm able to buy meat and vegetables direct from the producer. I know the quality of the produce and its cheaper and fresher than genuinely equivalent products in the supermarket. However I have to do my homework and when I identify a producer with whose products I'm content, I stick with him/her. Why should it be any different with legal services - unless the consumer is too lazy to do his/her homework or too stupid to see throught the hyperbole, exaggeration and lies of the middlemen who claim to be the consumer's friend but, in reality, are only interested in getting their cut. Does any sensible person really think that they are going to source better legal services through any 'comparison website' than going direct to the supplier?
