To put some detail and fact around the SRA's claim that the Ecohouse Escrow account managed by Sanders & Co.was "not a legal process" and "not part of a solicitor's usual business", I copy and paste the following verbatim from the Escrow Agreement contract that Sanders wrote and requested all Investors to sign...
"13.General Provisions

13.1 This agreement shall be subject to Laws of England & Wales and will have exclusive jurisdiction to the English Courts

13.2 This Agreement shall be signed in three counterparts all of which taken in their entirety shall constitute one legal agreement"

I am not a solicitor but I am familiar with i) English and ii) common sense, and I submit that this unequivocally proves that the SRA are incorrect in their judgement. It is also the case that solicitors hold money in the equivalent of Escrow accounts when conveyancing which is a daily duty of theirs.
Perhaps a qualified response would be helpful to support this contention. Many thanks.
