all that this article says is that there has been a reduction in legal aid for cases before a tribunal.. it does not say that as a result people have been denied rights or benefits that they are entitled to and would have got if they had been represented by a lawyer. tribunals at all levels are capable of dealing fairly with litigants in person, and indeed will often bend over backwards for them.

in an ideal world, we would have a rolls Royce service of free lawyers for all, but funding is limited
