Someone I know, who works as a Court interpreter, is contracted by CAB to provide legal advice on a part-time basis. He has not got a clue. It is quite scary that he is allowed to provide legal advice to members of the public.
I tell potential clients that I would act for them from the start but I am not getting involved in correcting other people's mistakes.
