Why do politicians never think things through?

Let's say B agrees to buy from C and sell to A, but then establishes C didn't have good title. Presumably B will still be in breach and liable to A, unless B can come up with some evidence that he was acting reasonably in pulling out of the transaction with C. A's solicitor will have to look at B's evidence and advise whether there is a breach or not.

Now pass that down an 8-transaction chain and see how much more efficient you have made the conveyancing process.
