Lydia, is there any well paid, client focussed, professional job in which pressure, such as that of which you complain, does not go with the territory? I've thought through a whole range of such jobs and professions, in both the private and public sector, and I've failed to identify one of which, in all honesty, that cannot be said. Whilst I have sympathy for those who 'crack' under pressure, and believe that employers should do all they can to help such people, might it not be the case that they are just in the wrong job and might be better suited for a less pressured job which, unfortunately, is likely to carry a significantly lower rate of remuneration?
