Anonymous 6.2.19. your suggestion would potentially shut the door on many peoples opportunities to enter the legal profession. In my view passing the LPC is important in accessing a candidates potential as a trainee. It is sad that periods post lpc can vary. We take candidates as trainees both fresh from LPC and sometimes after paralegal role. My firm has Directors that took the later route. All were far better placed to enter the legal world with lpc under their belt.
ps. I agree need minimum salary. Its hard making a start on any career
