Whichever way you look at it this poor woman has been hung out to dry.

The tribunal found she had been ‘deceived, pressured, bullied and manipulated’ into doing what she did and that she worked in a ‘horrendous environment’. Despite this, she found the courage and conviction to do the right thing and speak up. She has lost her career over it.

Ironically she was the only one to turn up to face the music.

I would argue that the fact a junior member of the profession, in face of the bullying, deception and manipulation was able to do the right thing and ultimately help bring that wrongdoing to an end will have done more to restore public faith in the profession than any wrongdoing she was involved in destroying it.
