Absolutely, the right to peaceful protest must be protected. But didn't they cut through the fencing, enter private property and chain themselves to a plane?

Not much has been said about the individuals on the plane. Had they gone through the legal process? And, is the assertion that they were being returned to war-torn countries and/or would be subjected to torture, true?

What was the extent of their knowledge about the individuals concerned? Was it supposition or did they have evidence of human right's issues?
