Unfortunately it is too late for Emily Scott.

Had she been an administrative staff, not a trainee or potential lawyer, the consequences to her would have been greatly different.

The SRA shifted the blame to the tribunal in making the striking off decision. Did they consider a moderate approach to this poor junior vulnerable staff. I am still not convinced that Emily Scott would have the courage to report while she was still working in the firm. It seemed that she left before she completed the training.

I do hope that there is a campaign to fight for justice for this lady.
