I am 17.47. I disagree with forced heirship and I would restrict the Act of 1975 to spouses, civil partners, and minor children; the people whom the deceased could have been made to support while living. I suppose former spouses and civil partners too, if death supervenes early after the final order.

If you’ve got it it should be your to leave as you see fit - to such of the family as you choose or to the proverbial cats’ home.
