It won't happen, because it will be immediately challenged and shot down in flames. That it hasn't happened so far speaks volumes.

All of the bits and pieces leading to medical reports is ok, because quite frankly £500 does not allow time for any of that to be done if a profit (that oh so ugly word) is to be made.

Personally I'm old school so when I do have a low value RTA to deal with I get the records and review them just in case. It only costs a letter. Mind you, the time spent then makes that claim unprofitable. The price of doing it right.

For everything else, insurers all jump in with multi-page letters offering all services under the sun. If anyone ignores those services and proceeds down an agency route that charges, they can get stuffed because of a failure to mitigate.
