In part Premex charge extra because of the credit terms and they extra functions they provide - sourcing experts, chasing reports and so on. Ask a client to pay £2,000 for a breach of duty report and the claim will die. Premex will alow 3 years to pay - without that possibility many many claims will wither away.

I was very curious so I looked at how much it would have cost for me to do everything and to fund the disbursements, and the profit made by Premex did not appear very high at all.

As it is, go direct to a neuropsychiatrist and they will charge £8k+. That is madness.
