So, you would rather not be charged tariffs. Then a no deal exit from the EU is not for you, with its default position of tariffs exacted under the WTO arrangements. What you need is either no exit at all, or an exit under a deal whereby we remain in a free trade arrangement with the EU. Why, too, do you criticise the EU for sticking to its rule book, when dealing with a member who is resigning from it. What club or association ever does that? And what do you mean, and what do you think would be achieved, by your reference to the negotiating gloves coming off. The UK is hardly likely to get any further by trying to threaten its way to a supposed 'better' deal. Whatever one's opinion of our Prime Minister, any objective assessment would say that she has got about as good a proposed deal as could be achieved, given the circumstances and relative bargaining positions of the parties. You are free to say the deal is unacceptable to you, but your alternatives are either no deal at all or no exit. Take your pick. If you want out, then it is either the negotiated deal or no deal at all, given that time to try negotiating anything else has now effectively run out. But please don't bellyache about how badly we are being treated. And try seeing us as others see us for a change - the John Bull, Little Englander, "we won the war for you so why aren't you prepared to give us everything we want" character that you portray is not an attractive one, I am afraid.
