Imagine you live in the 5th (or is it 6th) biggest economy in the World. Imagine you have lost your daughter and there is to be an Inquest. Imagine you would wish to take part and indeed you are told you can. You walk into the room where the Inquest is to take place and there are lawyers for all parties. However you really cannot afford the fees the lawyers wish to be paid. you apply to the Government for money at really low hourly rates, which the lawyers will accept, so that they get paid something for the work they do. The Government agency says no.
Government spokespeople say how sorry they are but say the rules (which they helped create) don't allow it.

Do you feel that you have equality of arms? Do you feel valued? Do you feel a citizen of the State and that you have rights.

You are grateful that the lawyers treat you as a charity case and will do the work for nothing.

Is this a justice system of which you can be proud Mr Gauke?
