The difference between GPs and solicitors is that someone (generally) gets to know reasonably quickly whether their GP is any good. Was he/she pleasant? Did they diagnose you quickly? Did they resolve your illness?

But solicitors? Well, it could be years until negligent advice is uncovered, and by then, even more work has been done. Plus, those clients who don't like the advice they're given (because it doesn't accord with their subjective and rather biased view of the evidence) are going to give terrible feedback.

As someone below said, it's a solution looking for a problem. I quite agree.
