This is typical of volume PI firms, no care taken because it's not worth the money. They know that but they plow on anyway at their own risk and through their unwillingness to acknowledge that the whiplash gravy train lies in flaming ruins. You can bet your bottom dollar that the solicitor was taking a big cut of what I expect was an unnecessary and worthless ATE premium.
