I've been a solicitor for 12 years now and always worked in an environment of stress. It's one of the worst jobs a person could do and I would not want my children to enter the legal profession. There are easier ways to make money and first and foremost a life to enjoy. It is often cited as 'rewarding' which is double speak for less or no money but morally correct. That doesn't pay the ever increasing bills falling through the letter box. I'm on my way out of the profession soon I hope and have little hope of it getting better for those still in it.
