Picking up on Mr Balchin's point about insurance, or rather the lack of it. If you are a solicitor providing interim services to a business, insurance can be difficult to obtain. Most brokers on hearing the word 'solicitor' will say 'minimum terms' and refer you to a specialist broker. If you try and obtain general commercial services cover, then I suspect that on a claim, when you qualifications are examined, the insurer will walk saying they do not cover legal services. If you tray and tell them upfront (as you should), then they say 'minimum terms'.
