He's seriously complaining that judges have to move between courts in the same building? A building, incidentally, which has three lifts (not two), as well as staircases, should the judicial legs feel up to a little light exercise.
Perhaps the judges could spare a thought to the poor court users, some of whom have to travel tens of miles to get there, and who don't get the sweetener of a £100k salary.
With the greatest of respect, it's almost as though this chap doesn't really understand the court he's talking about, or the issues that affect it.
