Each year, more than 300,000 children are expected to develop cancer worldwide. In developed countries more than 80% of them will survive; whilst in many developing countries survival rates are as low as 10%. We believe that every child with cancer, wherever they live in the world, should have equal access to the best possible treatment and care.

CICRA
CICRA: better lives for children with crohns and colitis. CICRA was founded in 1978 by a group of parents to raise funds for peer reviewed medical research and support families of children and young people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the two main types of which are Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis. IBD is a lifelong, destructive illness that can appear at any time causing severe inflammation of the digestive tract.

They will provide information, advice and guidance to help families take control and make decisions about their child’s treatment and their whole family’s future.

Chain of Hope provides complex cardiac surgery to children from war-torn and developing countries with life-threatening heart conditions. 90% of the world’s children with heart disease do not have access to the urgent treatment they require.

Our aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer. We fund life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of all childhood cancers.
Heartline Families
Heartline supports children with heart disorders and their families, whatever the condition, wherever it is treated. Regrettably, in the UK one baby in every 180 is born with a heart disorder and more acquire them in childhood.

As the largest charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK, nothing is going to stop us in our urgent mission to end kidney disease. Our kidneys are vital organs, helping keep our blood clean, chemically balanced and maintaining our body’s overall health. When your kidneys go wrong it is life changing. Kidney disease affects three million people in the UK. Treatments can be gruelling and currently there is no cure.
