We've been helping sick and injured dogs and cats, with no other hope, since 1928. Every case is URGENT. So please help us NOW with your donation. Please also help us with a gift in your will, and your legacy will be to save more lives.

The majority of dogs and cats in the UK are not insured or eligible for PDSA help. Many thousands therefore suffer and die through lack of treatment. We advise and make grants to responsible owners who have exhausted all other options.

Even those insured face policy exclusions and limits etc., which can leave them facing vets bills they simply can't afford. We step in and help to save and treat the animals.

In 2012, several insurance companies suddenly announced their withdrawal from the pet insurance market, leaving many owners with uninsurable sick and injured pets, even though they'd bought "cover for life". We gave financial support to save and treat those most at risk, and we supported the campaign which persuaded these companies to make amends.

There are countless reasons why so many dogs and cats cannot get the vital medical treatment they need, and we put the animals first and look at each case on its' own merits.
