Cartwright King has appointed Timothy Morgan as criminal defence solicitor in its Reading office.

He previously practised in the Thames Valley area for six years, and brings with him a wealth of experience in serious criminal defence.

Morgan, who will form part of Cartwright King’s national criminal defence team, is also a member of the Law Society’s Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme and has undertaken pro bono work at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Morgan said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining the team at Cartwright King, and further expanding the reach of its leading criminal defence offering.

‘I share Cartwright King’s personal service approach and am looking forward to working as part of this highly respected firm going forward.’

Chris Byron, regional managing director at Cartwright King, said: ‘We are very pleased to welcome Timothy to our expanding team.

‘His experience and talent will ensure he is a key asset for us as we continue to develop our core area of criminal defence law across the region and nationwide.’
