This guy is hardly the expert that he thinks he is. Charging rates for the big firms are driven by market forces in the same way that they are in other major cities such as NYC. If people/firms didn't pay these rates, they wouldn't be charged. That perhaps doesn't make it right, but the report is stating the obvious. In any event, JD strikes me as essentially biting the hand that has fed him as he trundles off towards the twilight of his career.
