0Belting the opposition: when it comes to courtroom fisticuffs, it looks like solicitor Ken Dickinson has got something of an unfair advantage. At an age that hovers somewhere above the 60 mark, he reckons he is the oldest new black belt in the country - or should we say grey belt. Dickinson initially took the exam in February 2007 with his ten-year-old daughter. She passed.

Not one to give up lightly, he tried again in February this year, this time with greater success.

Dickinson, who works for NAS Advocates in Stockton-on-Tees, says he is also a 'good fighter in court'. He could certainly terrify the opposition - especially in that outfit.
