Well, we asked for tales of musical lawyers.
Busking in Romsey town centre, Hampshire, are legal singer-songwriter duo The Clean Briefs (pictured). The pair – Eddie Voller, a director at Warner Goodman and Alan Knight, a conveyancing executive at Access Law, both in Hampshire – have teamed up with Romsey Abbey Primary School to release a CD single called ‘If we could change the world’, in support of the BBC’s Children in Need appeal. It’ll cost you £5.60 (including 60p p&p) and is available from Warner Goodman; or you can call the CD order line on 0844 248 7043. All proceeds will go to the Children in Need appeal.
It’s the pair’s second single, following the success of their 2007 hit ‘Everywhere that I look’ which raised £3,500 for Wessex Cancer Trust.
Our music critic hasn’t yet had a proper chance to evaluate the Briefs’ oeuvre, but he says they’re definitely not ‘pants’.
