London-based solicitors who want to engage in a bit of shooting - before New Labour introduces a ban on everything - have an excellent opportunity to have a go this weekend. Yes, it's the London Solicitors Inter-Firm Clay Pigeon Shooting Competition, which is taking place at the Royal County of Berkshire shooting school near Pangbourne on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. More than 20 teams of two will be trying to put one over City firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Taylor Wessing, perennial contenders for the title of the fastest shot in the smoke.
