We like to think that the Gazette has a broad appeal, so our thanks to James Nathan, a director of legal recruiters West Associates, for this heart-warming picture of his two-year-old son Ben, which we are assured was not staged. Nathan Jr was so taken with our 25 September issue that, after carrying it around all morning, he insisted on taking it with him to nursery. We would like to think that he was taken with the incisive nature of the reporting, but it may have had more to do with the picture of a tractor on the cover. ‘I now know in which direction to steer his education,’ Nathan Snr tells us, although whether his son is heading towards life as a solicitor or tractor driver is not clear.
