Obiter has long championed the success of lawyers in the sporting field and this week we are delighted to bring you news of a world champion, no less. Ralph Johnson, a solicitor at Camden Council, recently blew away the competition in the épée event for the 50-60 age category at the World Veterans Fencing Championships in Krems, Austria. Mr Johnson has quite a pedigree, having competed in four Olympics and been British champion six times. He has also been the Kent champion for the past 19 years, which seems a trifle unfair on everyone else in the garden of England.
