The above are esteemed members of the City of London Solicitors Company, sister to the City of London Law Society, which marks its centenary this year. This was not a Pied Piper-esque flushing out of City lawyers via the Thames. It was the Lord Mayor’s (predictably wet) annual show, at which 50 City solicitors braved the elements for the 28th consecutive year. The event marked the end of ex-Norton Rose senior partner David Lewis’s tenure as Lord Mayor.
