Property law firm Pemberton Greenish backed a winner at the Chelsea Flower Show this year, after funding designer Paul Hensey's entry, entitled the Pemberton Greenish Recess Garden. Hensey's creation - opened by former England cricketer Mark Ramprakash and his first for Chelsea - was awarded the silver-gilt medal in the Urban Garden category. For those readers confused by what silver-gilt actually means, Obiter can reveal it lies between the five gold Urban Garden entries and the two silver ones. So that's silver, and some, as it were.

Senior partner Damian Greenish (pictured right, with Ramprakash) said: 'We knew from the moment we met Paul and learned of his vision for the garden that he was a rising star. We are delighted to have been able to help him turn that vision into a glorious reality.'
