But no, it's not the first week of January, when divorce lawyers traditionally make an appointment with their local Mercedes dealer. Pictured on the right are Bournemouth's trained collaborative lawyers, a new breed determined to offer a 'friendly' approach to divorce and avoid what they call 'legal fisticuffs'. Family lawyers in Bournemouth, Poole and Lymington have teamed up to offer a collaborative service, and south-coast firm Lester Aldridge recently held an event to inform people about the more cuddly approach.
