What is it about working in law firms that encourages people to take their lives in their hands outside the office? Proving that a bridge has more uses than simply getting across a river, staff at Newcastle law firm Crutes have done a 'free hang' abseil, which means there was no contact with the landmark Tyne Bridge as they leapt over the edge. Pictured is Stacey Wait, a secretary at the firm, as she heads over the top for the 80-foot drop. Crutes fielded two teams of four for the abseil, including partner Paul Hughes, and raised £1,320 for Challenging Cancer and Leukemia in Childhood.
