Obiter's request for rapping lawyers has come up trumps. Tim Sharpe, a consultant at The Reece-Jones Partnership, informs us that his album 'Starting to Sing' contains a rap called 'Tricky Smart and Plausible'. Indeed, the CD contains musical styles ranging from Europop to country. Mr Sharpe reports on an attempt last year to raise funds for the Solicitors Benevolent Association through an advert in its newsletter. Unfortunately there was only one enquiry, he says, and no take-up. 'It was only a tenner,' he writes. '(I'm a baritone).' Obiter calls on readers to stump up a cheque for £11, payable to the association, sending it to Mr Sharpe at The Reece-Jones Partnership, Epicurus House, Akehurst Lane, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1JN.
