Regular readers will know, that here at Obiter we like nothing more than a bit of celebrity spotting as we witness the attempts of the famous and not-so-famous to cosy up to the legal profession. This week we have excelled with the former health secretary and star of ‘Hell’s Kitchen’, Edwina Currie. Ms Currie and her husband recently took part in a 450-kilometre cycle ride across Poland in a group that included Colin Billing and Darren Gilling of Merseyside-based personal injury firm Brian Camp & Co. The trip raised more than £160,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Mr Billing - an appropriate name for a lawyer, we’re sure you’ll agree - is pictured with Ms Currie.
