How often do you visit the Gazette website? Do you participate in our social media activities? Are you aware that our online platforms contain a wealth of information that complements your weekly print magazine?

It appeared to us timely to ask these questions in the week that membership of the Gazette’s LinkedIn group topped 2,000 – a 1,000 increase this year alone. Our new commissioning/features editor, Eduardo Reyes, has this week taken ownership of the group.

Hot topics presently under discussion include: how will high street firms be affected by alternative business structures? Also, more prosaically perhaps, does your firm answer the phone outside office hours? And sourcing PII, of course.

Traffic to the Gazette website has quadrupled in two years, as practitioners seek breaking news and comment – and tips from those on the ground – about matters ranging from price comparison ventures to setting up a new practice. Gone are the days when ‘the Gazette’ was just a weekly snapshot for practitioners keen to stay informed.

We would like to hear your views on lawgazette.co.uk – what you like about it, what you don’t, and how it might be improved. We hope you agree that we’ve propelled the magazine into the digital age, but we know there is much more to do. Your input is invaluable.
