Ee, by gum! After sleepless nights the wait is over. The shortlist for this year’s Deliciouslyorkshire annual food and drink awards has been announced.
Patent and trademark attorneys Harrison Goddard Foote are one of the many sponsors associated with the event – which is organised by the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber. The legal firm specialises in intellectual property strategy, protection and exploitation in the food and drink sector.
The event is designed to showcase the best food and drink the Yorkshire and Humber region has to offer, and this year the panel of hungry and thirsty experts and judges were set the task of whittling down 172 entries to a shortlist of just 51 producer-members across 18 separate awards.
With mouth-watering categories such as fresh meat, game and poultry, fish and seafood, as well as confectionery among many others, Harrison Goddard Foote went straight for the drink, sponsoring the ‘alcoholic, non-alcoholic, tea and coffee’ award. Incidentally, all three finalists in this category are breweries.
Winners will be announced at a star-studded dinner and awards ceremony in Harrogate on 3 November.
