Latch is here for families affected by childhood cancer in Wales, providing bespoke emotional, practical and financial support.
Latch is based at the Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff, where we provide free accommodation in the hospital that keeps families together at a time when their lives are turned upside down. We provide financial grants to help relieve the pressure of increased costs faced by families affected by childhood cancer, alongside dedicated Latch social workers based in the hospital, who represent them at medical team meetings, help them to access benefits, and provide emotional and wellbeing support.
Latch also provides families with fun community and hospital activities, as well as an annual holiday for all families, helping to improve wellbeing and create long lasting memories.
