Registered Charity No: 289868 (England & Wales).

Sense believes that every disabled person should have the opportunity to connect with others and be included in the world.

We offer personalised, creative and flexible support for disabled people with complex needs and our tailored approach ensures that every person is empowered to live fully at every stage of life.

We’re here, in people’s homes, centres and communities, focusing on the things a person can do, not what they can’t and celebrating the moments of connection that bring more joy to life.

For 70 years we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people, from early life to adulthood. We offer advice and information, specialist groups, residential care, virtual support, and we have a network of centres in communities across the country.

We also provide lifelong opportunities for disabled people to be creative and active through holidays, arts, sports and wellbeing programmes. As well as practical support, through our campaign work we step up in the face of adversity and unite with the 1.6 million disabled people with complex needs in the UK  to achieve long-term change.

Leaving a gift in your Will to Sense is a special way to bring joy and to make a lasting difference to disabled children and adults with complex needs and their families. In years to come, your kindness will ensure that we can be there when they need us, for as long as they need us.
